UPCOMING EVENTS

Our School

Christ the King runs a Toddler Program, Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary Daycare Program for ages 18 months through 5th grade. Daycare is available from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Daycare

We offer daycare starting at 6:30 a.m and extending until 6:00 p.m. We are able to provide a transportation service for your elementary children who attend the following: Mariposa Elementary, Kimberly Elementary and Crafton Elementary.

Toddler Learning Center

The Toddler Learning Center, fondly known as the TLC room starts accepting children at 18 months of age. The TLC room offers care from 6:30 am -6:00 pm. The room is billed at a daily charge. This allows parents to use the program as their needs arise. There are two toddler room teachers and 12 children a day. Our little friends spend time playing outside, reading Bible stories, doing crafts, and learning how to play well with others. The Toddler room is founded on lots of hugs and love. What better way to teach the love of Christ!

PreSchool

Our preschool program starts at 2 years old. We offer preschool and pre-K programs, as well as our own in-house Kindergarten program. The preschool program operates between the hours of 9 a.m – 12 p.m.

Kindergarten

For over 30 years, Christ the King has offered a kindergarten program that is hands-down the best in town. Our full day program exceeds California Standards and offers individualized quality attention and assessment with low student to teacher ratios.

“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:7

Meet the Christ the King Staff

The staff members at Christ the King are fully qualified teachers and meet the licensing standards set before child care centers. They have an evident love for children and desire to be an example to your children as we teach and direct with a loving, Godly spirit. We believe we are contributing to America’s future by what we teach, the examples we set, and the words we speak. We treat all children with kindness and respect. While encouraging them to grow in God’s love, and helping them to build a positive self esteem, we are ever mindful that you, as the parents, are your child’s first teacher. We are honored to assist you, as you prepare your children for their future educational endeavors. Please take a moment to meet our amazing staff.

OUR LOCATION

Christ the King is located on the beautiful South Side of Redlands. Sharing the location with both the church and school allows for families to become an entrenched part of both the church and school. Christ the King’s students are given the opportunity to experience intellectual, physical, spiritual and emotional growth. Our classrooms are designed to offer children an atmosphere that is age appropriate, while encouraging children to reach developmental milestones. The classrooms are rich in literature, pre-reading and pre-mathematic activities. Our preschool children attend chapel on a weekly basis. We maintain safe playgrounds that allow for physical growth and exploration. Embodied in Christian education, we teach the reality of God’s grace and abundant love. Your children will enjoy our small classes and engaging classrooms. At Christ the King, we believe that play is a child’s vocation. It is through this medium that they learn how to gain independence, establish a positive self image and a loving attitude towards God, family and friends.

Illness Policy

Your child will not be allowed to stay at school with any of the following symptoms:

A temperature over 100 degrees-your child must be fever free without any aide of medication such as Tylenol or Motrin.

Diarrhea
Vomiting
Undiagnosed rash
Overall appearance of runny nose or eyes, puffy eyes, or listless behavior.
Any contagious childhood disease such as chicken pox, measles, etc.

If you notice that your child has any of the above symptoms, PLEASE KEEP THEM HOME!

If a child is sent home, they must stay home for one full school day or 24 hours, whichever is greater.

We all wish to maintain the healthiest atmosphere we can for our children and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU
We appreciate your care and consideration in looking over our handbooks and following our school policies.
Our Mission

Christ the King has dedicated teachers and staff who offer your children an enriching experience, and Christian environment whether it is through our preschool or a loving and secure after school care program.

Our Purpose

When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” John 21:15
