The Christian life consists of continually being turned from sin to forgiveness, from death to life, from self to Christ. This turning is called "repentance." Conversion, faith and repentance are works of God in the human heart. Good works follow faith as the fruit of repentance. (Mt. 3:8; Lk. 24:47)
